Jarabacoa Hostel offers you the basics, giving you a glimpse into the simpler Dominican way of life.

Our rooms are simple, include mosquito nets or fans, TV and DVD player (Economy Plan), and we provide all linens to make your packing lighter and easier. You are here for a good reason and while you will certainly rough it during your stay we try hard to make your down time enjoyable, and at least comfortable.

Many say that when it rains, the sound of the water hitting the high ceilings and tin roof is relaxing and helps them sleep. The bullfrogs that inhabit the fields across the way certainly love it, and you will hear them crescendo into a momentary but cheerful chorus when the rain stops.
